Assumption about awareness

Bewusstsein

Awareness arises when a cognitive system can distinguish between two events. It could be a cause that triggers an effect. The recognizing system must have the necessary computing power and the algorithms to do so. The human brain has the required computing power and the algorithms are learned throughout life. If one of the two events is triggered by the recognizing system itself, this leads to self-confidence.

To detect events, it also requires a sensor that allows the sensory perception. This in turn requires that the cognitive system – it could be a human being – be moved in a reality section. Without physical environment there is no consciousness.
